Biography
Jim is a resident of Vancouver Island since 1989 and the Comox Valley since 1999. In one way or another, real estate has been a part of his life for the past 30 years. Jim worked in a corporate management capacity for one of the largest retail developers in Canada for over 11 years. He has bought and sold many personal use properties over the years in addition to owning and managing rental properties on Vancouver Island. Real Estate runs in Jim’s family as both his mother and sister were successful realtors for many years.
Outside the office, Jim will most often be found actively engaged in one outdoor activity or another, hiking, kayaking, cycling, swimming, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, golfing, or most likely running – Jim’s number 1 recreational passion. Jim is deeply involved in the Vancouver Island running community as a participant, organizer, administrator, volunteer and competitor. He has and/or does serve on the executive of the Comox Valley Roadrunners and Vancouver Island Runners Association and is a 3-time race director of the Comox Valley Half Marathon.
Jim has a reputation for integrity and dedication to his clients. He understands the impact buying or selling a home has on people's lives and works hard to ensure that transaction takes place as smoothly as possible. He will keep you 'in the loop', guide you through the process, and try to minimize the stress that naturally occurs during such a life-changing event.
